Model #SO-1 - Features Jim Buoy's remarkable
new LIFE-SAVING design that enables an unconscious
person to roll over, face-up, with their mouth more
than 4 3/4" above the water in LESS THAN
5 SECONDS! Shipped complete with the unique Jim
Buoy youth insert collar in place, the #SO-1 is then
approved for children of 60 lbs. or more, yet easily
converts for adult use in less than 15 seconds! In
practical use, valuable space and cost savings become
obvious as SOLAS and USCG requirements are greatly reduced
from the present 10% child life preserver requirement
to as low as 2-3% [representing children under 60
lbs.]. Of course the Jim Buoy #SO-2 or similar SOLAS-U.S.C.G.
Life preserver is required for children under 60 lbs.
