The all new Jim Buoy No. 9000 Light is a handy, long lasting lighting system that is totally waterproof and visible for up to 1 mile! It may be special ordered for almost all Jim Buoy Channel Markers, River Buoys, Mooring Buoys and Rope Floats and even retrofitted at a low cost (see details below). It requires little or no maintenance under normal use and its rugged plastic construction is impervious to the most severe weather conditions and saltwater corrosion. The batteries (2 Alkaline D-Cell, with exception to the white light which requires 3 D-Cell, not included) and bulb are even GUARANTEED 1 FULL YEAR from date of purchase to NEVER need replacement! An almost unbelievable accomplishment, but true!

HOW IT WORKS - All functions are electronically controlled, remaining OFF during daylight and automatically turning ON at night. The bright, pulsating light flashes 40 milliseconds per flash and 30 flashes per minute and is visible for up to 1 mile. With its great longevity, convenient size and LOW cost, it is now possible to place lights in many areas that in past might have been impractical. Here's just a few ideas we have...

RETROFIT ORDERING INFORMATION

CHANNEL MARKERS:
Order 9000 Lite for 427. You will receive a 4-1/2" diameter disk. With the light foamed in place, remove the old disk (3 screws). Replace with the new disk containing the light.

All other Channel markers have a 4-3/8" diameter disk - specify disk size or Mode number and proceed as above.

MOORING BUOYS:
Drill a 1-5/8" diameter hole, 5" deep near top eye - mix and pour the urethane foam as instructed, (included in the retrofit kit). You must now anchor at the bottom of the Mooring Buoy.

Note: Factory produced Mooring Buoys with lights will have an offset eye.

IN ANSWER TO MANY REQUESTS - Jim Buoy is now providing the all-new No. 9000-X Series Light with three times the distance of visibility as that of the popular No. 9000 Light. The all-new Model No. 9000-X flashes 30 times per minute and lasts up to one year without a battery change. The Model No. 9000-XSB maintains a steady burn for up to 1-1/2 months of continuous battery use. Both models electronically shutoff during daylight hours and automatically turn on at darkness and are powered by 3 Alkaline "D" cell batteries (not included). They feature the same heavy-duty construction as Jim Buoy's Model No. 9000 Light (see above) utilizing an almost indestructible polycarbonate lens and are completely watertight and submersible.
